Anita cared for her father until his dementia made it unsafe to leave him. When she moved him to Cedarville, a nearby retirement home, she visited every day and enjoyed getting to know many of the other residents. Even though her dad has passed, she now teaches a flower arranging class at Cedarville, just so she can stay in touch with her friends there. Anita is a master gardener and finds solace digging in her flower beds. The friendly stray cat that comes and goes is her only company and she keeps meaning to think of a name for it. At 47 her health is excellent. She credits her time with Mother Nature and her homemade kombucha. Anita loves to thrift antique treasures and play her hammered dulcimer.
